Midstream

“Midstream” is a visually immersive photography book in which Richard Wasserman documents the entire 156-mile stretch of the Chicago River, offering readers an intimate look into the river’s often overlooked landscapes. From its industrial banks to its untouched tributaries, Wasserman’s images reveal the hidden beauty and complexity of this unique waterway. As the book designer, I was responsible for the complete design process, from layout to finishing details, aiming to bring Wasserman’s vision to life in a format as rich and layered as the landscape itself.
